Need Suggestions...........
Our weekly Friday Shoot Out theme for yesterday is "What I Collect". While visiting Gayla's post, she had shown photos of a Scavenger Hunt her photo club went on.
In her words:
I also have collected a few photos this last weekend. The Camera club had a Scavenger Hunt on Saturday they gave us ten words we had to go out and find pictures of. We had to have and empty memory card to start with. You had to turn in only those ten pictures on the card with no doctoring from your computer just as is right from the camera. You could take lots of pictures but you had to delete them and choose one for each word at the end. We had to turn them in at 6:00 pm. So JarieLyn and I teemed up together. We went down to the strip. We park at the Lexor and walk clear down to the Venetian than walk all the way back on the other side going in and out of the Casinos along the way to find the photos we needed. It toke us all day. We did stop to have lunch. This is the second time we have done this and both times I a lot of fun. Maybe sometime the MFTSO will have some kind of theme or game like this to do. I'll suggest it.
Sounds like a great idea to me. I would like to have a Friday Shoot Out Scavenger Hunt on occasion.
Suggested guide lines;
*straight out of the camera, no editing
*one photo per word
*three words for each hunt
* add a fourth photo if you can find all three hunt words in one (or just post this one photo)
* hunt area includes your town, surrounding areas, surrounding countryside
Does this sound like something you all would be interested in doing? If so, what I need from all of you are "three word" suggestions for the hunts. (please leave suggestions in the comments) Keep in mind we all don't live in large cities. Also if you have any more suggestions for guide lines for the hunts please feel free to share them.
I will add the first "Friday My Town Shoot Out Scavenger Hunt" for April 8th, as we have theme scheduled until then.
MORE FRIDAY SHOOT OUT FUN!
